How it works

Make the show.

If you’ve used a DAW, you already know how this works. Load your song, pick the colors and movement for each section, preview it, and take it on stage.

  1. 01 / Start with the song

    Load a recording.

    Bring in a recording of a song you play live. WavePrism maps its sections so you can see the shape of the arrangement before you design the show.

    Review the verses, choruses, and changes. This is the song your show will follow, even when the live performance moves at its own pace.

    Your recording is the starting point.
    The performance still gets to breathe.

  2. 02 / Give it a look

    Design the show.

    WavePrism finds your song’s sections for you. Name them whatever you like (verse, chorus, the breakdown), give each one a look, and watch it in the preview as you work.

    Put the songs in setlist order, prepare the transitions, and run the entire show in rehearsal mode without a mic.

    The creative decisions are yours.
    Make them before the doors open.

  3. 03 / Take the stage

    Go live and play.

    Connect your lights and a mic, plus a projector if you’re using video. On stage, WavePrism listens to the band and follows where you are in the song.

    As you reach each section, the corresponding lights and video fire. You can push the tempo, settle back, or perform in a different key from the recording.

What happens next

I read every application. Selected bands get a build, a setup call, and my direct line. In return, I’ll ask for a recording of a show so I can see how it went.

I’m bringing musicians in a few at a time as the alpha develops. There’s no fixed reply or invitation date yet.

I’m Cyrus, a musician and audio engineer, and I built WavePrism to make the show I wanted to play.

It began as my Master of Music thesis at Berklee College of Music, where I built the application end to end.

I’m still developing it myself, and when you come on board, I’m the person reading your application, helping with your setup, and listening to what happened at the gig.
